Programming in Rhapsody is the primary required skill.  This will be an on-site position requiring 2 days per week for now with the target of 5 days in September.
- The position will work as part of a development team responsible for the following activities:
- Establish complete, up-to-date, timely, automated reporting of individual-level data through electronic case reporting to CDC and others in a machine-readable format (ensuring LHD have access to data that is reported):
- Complete assessment of the current application environment to identify areas for improving and streamlining capacity for ELR.
- Complete ELR integration engine improvements as per the discovery phase.
- Develop the electronic reporting format and integration engine for non-traditional laboratories that need to report in plain text formats such as comma separated value text files (CSV).  
- Completion of the pilot rollout and integration of the HL7 and CSV reporting formats with fifty trading partners
- Rollout and complete integration of the HL7 and CSV reporting formats to all trading partners requesting onboarding to the ELR system.

Required / Desired Skills
Recent/current professional experience as a Orion Rhapsody Programmer - Required 3 Years
Healthcare Integration engine experience - Required 5 Years
Prior experience developing and implementing Orion Rhapsody IE (v6 and above) - Required 5 Years
Prior experience with JavaScript - Required 5 Years
Prior experience conducting QA support for Rhapsody - Required 1 Years
Prior experience processing and translating HL7 messages - Highly desired 5 Years
Prior experience with FHIR - Highly desired 1 Years
