ON SITE Info to note: 
- Currently, contractors are allowed to work remotely until further notice from the Government. As per current situation, if selected candidates would have to come to work if they live within 45 miles from the office otherwise they can Work From Home. 
- Be advised: Local Richmond candidates are preferred as the WFH is subject to change which means that in the NEAR future (in first 3 months of start) the Mgr may require min 3 days/week ON SITE. 
- No exceptions. Pls make sure you discuss with your candidate and they agree bf submitting them bc at some point in the near future (likley in first few months) after they start.  

ABOUT THE ROLE
- MUST HAVE AUTOMATED TESTING EXP! Many candidates rcvd previously did not have the sr level exp with auto testing tools (they had on their resume)  but could not answer basic questions around their Selenium automation, Database, Performance testing experience. This is required! Pls make sure they have this exp bf submitting.

THE IDEAL CANDDATE will have all of these and it needs to be clearly reflected with the tech detials of their resume: Good automation testing experience. 
- Excellent knowledge on Cucumber, Selenium and Java. Good knowledge of Database and Jenkins. Good communication. Good programming skills.
- Candidate will support multiple projects and applications.
- Tech Skills and Responsibilities Required:

- Proficiency developing, implementing and executing data-driven or keyword driven testing frameworks using testing tools like Selenium, Coded UI Test (CUIT), Quality Test Professional (QTP), etc. to facilitate test automation
- Proficiency in implementing and executing testing strategies, plans, methodologies and frameworks in support of Agile development
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business and technical requirements to develop and execute test plans/strategies
- Demonstrated ability to execute custom automation/manual testing frameworks strategies Review all systems requirements to write detail Test scenarios to make sure it does not impact the new changes on tax implementation
- Create and Maintenance of test data to support automation testing and Business users
- Identify system defects and coordinate with Developers and business users
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
- Proficiency in Ruby OR Java programing language 
- Engineer, consult and upskill other test engineers on DevOps (CI/CD) and automated CI/CD pipelines
- Generating innovative ideas, developing proof-of-concepts and rapid prototypes alongside other engineers utilizing pair programming and mobbing techniques
- Ability to clearly articulate and explain complex concepts and technologies to a non-technical audience
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with engineering teams and solving complex system problems together
- Establishing proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities exist for all components of the platform
- Demonstrating knowledge of at least two database technologies such as. Oracle, MS-SQL
- Working experience with version control tool such as GitHub/TFS
 
Skill
