Role Description:
- Provides development and design efforts to meet user requirements.
- Defines test plans and criteria for acceptance for the technical components of an application.
- Ensures business requirements are supported by the technical solutions.
- Participates in detailed design and product test execution as required.

- Work with Service Desk as Tier-2 support for issues or requests originating from application users.
- The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to develop and support PCCD’s web-based applications in Microsoft Technologies.
- The candidate will support the agency’s development efforts (enhancements and incident resolution), through Analysis, Design, development, testing, and documenting results using the Commonwealth’s Microsoft Azure DevOps Services (ADS) environment, and by assisting in the preparation and publication of product release notes.
- He or she may be asked to develop test plans in the ADS environment to facilitate the end-user acceptance testing phase of product releases.
- The candidate should have a high degree of patience, politeness, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- He or she should have a pleasant demeanor and will be in contact with individuals from all levels of the organization from clerical to executive. He or she may need to receive criticism and respond professionally.
- The candidate will work with other developers and analysts as part of a team. While the work is primarily done remotely, the candidate should be available to visit and potentially spend multiple consecutive days at the worksite in the Harrisburg, PA area.
