Position Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our mission-critical Oracle 19c environment running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle RAC and ASM, and the ability to work independently on routine maintenance as well as specialized tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced database administration tasks for Oracle 19c RAC and ASM environments.
- Implement and maintain database backup and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Manage access security, database integrity, and physical data storage design.
- Oversee data storage management and supervise performance tuning activities.
- Author shell scripts for backup, restore, and monitoring tasks.
- Monitor database performance, space requirements, and optimize system resources.
- Identify and track issues, risks, and action items; provide accurate and timely status updates.
- Assist in coordinating software releases and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment while being capable of independent execution of tasks.
