Complete Description:

- The Application Trainer is responsible for delivering effective end-user training for the Electronic Health Records application to ensure successful adoption, usability, and ongoing proficiency.

- This role designs, develops, and delivers training programs, documentation, and learning materials while working closely with Health Services, Health IT, and vendor teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for new and existing applications

- Develop and maintain training materials, including user guides, quick reference sheets, videos, and e-learning modules

- Customize training content based on user roles, workflows, and system configurations

- Conduct training needs assessments and recommend appropriate learning approaches

- Support application rollouts, upgrades, and system changes through targeted training initiatives

- Provide hands-on system demonstrations and facilitate interactive learning sessions

- Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement

- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on application functionality and workflows

- Collaborate with Health Services, Health IT, and vendor teams to align training with system capabilities

- Maintain training schedules, attendance records, and completion metrics

 

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

- 2–5 years of experience in application training, software implementation, or user education

- Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences

- Experience developing training materials using tools such as PowerPoint, LMS platforms, or video authoring software

- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner

Working Conditions
