About the Role:
- This Programmer Analyst position will serve as one of two senior developers for the SCC’s HR and Financial Oracle E-Business Suite application (eSCC).
- This individual will be in a team of four working Agile development to process a variety of complex backlog items and support daily operations.
- The individual in this position will assist with translating formal and informal requirements into database and application solutions.
- Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and as a team.
- The ability to adapt to change and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers is essential.
- Comply with all system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews.
- Fully document work performed and provide technology turnover on all work performed to other SCC staff.
Responsibilities Include:
- Executing application development for Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2 or above, including, but not limited to, the Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, iRecruitment, Human Resources, and Time and Labor modules
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements through interviews and observations to develop and modify program applications utilizing Oracle application standards and tools
- Performs complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.
- Designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and implementing programs and systems.
- Developing and executing unit and system testing, and supporting user acceptance testing
- Defining input and output requirements and supporting turnover of program changes into the production system
- Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and technical documentation.?
